ST. JOHN, PETERBOROUGH
St. John’s is a large Perpendicular church, erected in 1402-07, supposedly reusing materials from the old church and the Nave of St. Thomas Beckett’s chapel. There was a major Victorian/Edwardian restoration which was commenced by J.L. Pearson 1882-3 and continued by Sir Arthur Blomfield & Sons from the early 1890s to 1909.
