LINCOLN COLLEGE, OXFORD
The main buildings that make up Lincoln College were constructed between 1430 – 1437 and the current Chapel was built in 1631. Pevsner believed that Lincoln College preserves "more of the character of a 15th century college than any other in Oxford". Perhaps the College's most striking feature, its library, is located in the converted 18th century All Saints Church, acquired by the College in 1971.
Stephen Oliver has been working at the College for several years. He was the Project Architect for the major scheme to alter and extend the Grade II listed Garden Building, working with Stanton Williams Architects, a project which won a national RIBA award. Stephen has worked on other projects at the College including refitting the Upper Senior Common Room and providing a new wheelchair accessible lobby entrance to the Grade I listed All Saints library.
