About us We are specialists in the field of conservation architecture, dedicated to the thoughtful repair, adaptation, and celebration of historic buildings and places. Based in Birmingham, we operate across the country, caring for important historic structures and their settings, with particular interest in ecclesiastical architecture. Our portfolio spans cathedrals and churches, listed buildings and scheduled ancient monuments, heritage-led regeneration, and historic houses.
The Role We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our team in June 2025. This role offers the opportunity to work across all RIBA stages, contributing to projects that combine innovative design with technical precision and historical sensitivity. You will gain hands-on experience in site surveys, heritage research, and the production of drawings. We welcome applications from individuals with a strong interest in the historic environment, traditional materials, and sustainable design. Proficiency in CAD software (Vectorworks preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable, and a willingness to learn and collaborate is essential. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team, benefiting from mentorship and collaboration in a supportive environment.
