BRIERLEY HILL WAR MEMORIAL, WEST MIDLANDS

Picture
A war memorial which was unveiled in 1921, commemorating the dead of the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War, Cyprus Emergency and Malayan Emergency.  Designed by Councillor JT Fereday and Francis Lane and carved by George Brown & Sons of Kidderminster.

Our team managed the careful conservation and cleaning of the Brierley Hill War Memorial for its centenary in 2021. The original detail of the iron railings was reinstated and the relighting of the memorial was also designed by our team. The project was part of a larger scheme of public realm improvement in the area.
